Making Paper Clips
open a new image (make it large ) mine is 480 x 480
as i find it easier to work with large workspace when using vector shapes.
now set your foreground/background swatches to any colour you wish mine is set at #000000
now draw out your shape like below or use the tube i provided.
now with your magic wand select your shape
go to selections/ modify /contract set pixels to 10 click ok.
now hit delet on your keyboard
go to selections select none
go to edit copy
paste as new layer
now with your pick tool size and position like below
now on your layer pallet block out your copy of raster 1 layer
with your raster 1 layer highlighted erase parts like below
now go to effects plugin eye candy 4000 chrome with these settings
now block this layer and higlight your raster 1 layer and as before erase these parts of your image
now go to effects plugin eye candy 4000 chrome with same settings as before
now go to layers merge visible
