FLOWER ONE
new image 450x400 resolution 300.
Making our petal.
colour pallet #2e988c
Preset Shapes Ellipse.
Draw out a long Ellipse like below.
Now click on Mesh Warp Tool.
Move nodes around to get preffered shape like below.
Click on Effects / Effect Browser find moire pattern removal,
highlight and click on apply.
Click on Effects Greg's Factory pool shadow with these settings.
Now add some texture i'm using sandstone with these settings.
Save your petal for now as psp. image open new image 250x250.
Colour pallet #93982e,Preset Shape Ellipse.
Now make a small Ellipse in center of your canvas, follow all of the above effects that you implemented to your petal.
Now have both your petal and flower center opened.
Open new image 500x500
Copy and paste your petal image as new layer to your new image.
Go to layer duplicate layer and continue to duplicate layers so you have 7 copies of your petal layer
(8 petals in total).
Now just use your pick tool on each petal layer to position the petals in place
( I also used the image /mirror / flip on a few petals just to change their direction.)
Once you have your petals as you want them click on your flower center image and copy and paste to your petal image as new layer.
Layers Merge Visible export as picture tube to use again.
FLOWER 2
0pen new image 500 x 500.
FG,BG, colour #df89,go to shapes ellipse draw out an Ellipse.
Now with your mesh warp tool move your nodes as i have below.
With your Magic Wand click on your petal to select it,effects plugin we will use MuRa's Filter Meister Cloud.
with these settings.
Click on image Free Rotate click direction right degrees click 270.
Duplicate your petal layer making 4 copies (total of 5 petals.)
With your pick tool postion each petal.
Effects 3D Effects Drop Shadow add a drop shadow to each petal layer.
Change your colour pallet to #691831.
With your Lighten and Darken tool add some dark and light shading to each petal using these settings.
Using your Pen Tool with these settings draw out lines on each petal.
Convert your line drawing layer to raster and using your Smudge Tool with these settings give more detail to your petals.
For the center of our flower go to Preset Shape Tool Ellipse and draw out Ellipse for the center of your image.
Convert to Raster Layer and select your Ellipse now go to Effects Plugin MuRa's Filter Meister Cloud.
With these settings.
Deselect your Ellipse and with your Smudge Tool this time change the size to 5 hardness 25 and opacity 50.
Now just gently smudge your outline of your ellipse to take away the smoothness.
Now go to layers merge visible and export as picture tube.
Here is my finished flower.
FLOWER THREE
Open new image 500 x 500
Use a colour you like mine is #ffc0c0
follow each step,
if you followed the flower 2 tutorial this will seem straightforward. (image shown in diagram)
STEP 1... Draw out Ellipse
STEP 2... Use Mesh Warp Tool to design petal shape.
STEP 3... Use Lighten/Darken tool to add effect (use same settings as in previous flower 2)
STEP 4... open new image 800 x 800 copy and paste your petal to new image and duplicate your petal layers
(total of 12 petals) and with pick tool position each petal as i have.
go to layers, layers merge visible.
STEP 5...Duplicate your merged layer.
STEP 6...Using your move tool move your duplicated layer to position your petals.
STEP 7... Add new raster layer, on your colour pallet set foreground to null
and background fill use your gradient and find foreground-background.
draw out your ellipse for center of your flower.
with your magic wand select your center
go to adjust add/remove noise / add noise, settings, - gussian - noise 27- monochrome checked.
effects plugin Toadies Blast! Em!
settings Diffuse 150, Transparency 255.
STEP 8... Deselect your center go to effects 3D effects and add drop shadow.
STEP 9... Before you merge your layers you can add more detail to your flower image as you wish
or change colours, then merge layers visible and export as picture tube to use again.
